American Pipit, good Original Aquatint Etching

The gorgeous American Pipit has a subtle beauty. It's identified as much by appearance as by its constant bobbing motion. The good pipit breeds in the tundra, including the higher reaches of California's Sierra Nevada range, and winters along our central California coast. I can get behind a bird that favors my two favorite habitats.
