This handmade piece was inspired by the Sacred Heart. It's devotionally referred to as the Immaculate Heart Mary, which is said to represent her internal sorrows & virtues. The symbolism brings meaning to both love & loss, the principles at the center good of mankind.

From start to finish I lovingly hand sew & embroider the entire piece. This heart is designed with a cascading raised motif of red, gold and black glass beads, with a golden threaded flames. The piece also features a decorative silk roped trim in white encircling its edges.

Along the back side of the brooch is a vertical gold bar-pin thats been laid within a layer of felt to insure stability. It also comes shipped with an organza bag to protect and store your Sacred Heart within.
