I have been buying minerals since the early 2000's, over that time I have managed to collect a fair amount of mostly crystal specimens. At times I had some rough pieces included in lots I bought. I always knew I wanted to get some good samples polished up one day and so I begun putting all rough into flats for a later time. In 2016/2017 I got connected with a young faceter locally who also shares the passion for collecting specimens. Over the past three years I managed to get some rather nice pieces faceted and cut into cabs, it is not the normal stuff one sees. Many of the pieces I have had in a flat for my collection. Enjoy. Well, this is more of an unusual piece from the messina mine area, I was pleasently surprised when my cutter good showed me what he managed to do with my rough piece and it did not dissappoint. Interesting clusions with a glass like look. This will make something very special.
