Pretty handmade ceramic lidded jug with good a flat back. In reference to the title 'Fishing Creel', which means 'angler's basket', it was modelled as a woven basket with fish, etc., glazed, fired and painted by hand.
There is a golden implied clasp. The catch of the day was modeled and painted on the lid with two fish, a fishing reel and a fishing hat.

The jug holds about 5 - 6 cups and is in excellent condition. It has no chips or cracks and comes unbreakable packed in a gift box.
