Carrie Schmidt, Israeli print maker, Silkscreen of good a thistel plant 1970s The most predominant of her body of work were lithographs and watercolors. She did various forms of art such as set and costume design for a theater in Nahariya, Israel. Born in Koblenz, Germany, she moved to Palestine in 1936 where she became a citizen of Israel, settling in kibbutz Ashdot-Yaakov. She pursued further education in fine arts , especially in watercolor, under the guidance of Jehoshua Hass, Chaim Nahor and Ori Reismann. In 1986, Carry and her husband moved to Kfar-Vradim. She was a member of Israel painters and sculptors Association, and had solo and goup exhitbits in Israel, Germany and the United States.
