1920s Style Ladies Cloche good of vintage nylon horsehair in white, historic reproduction hat size 7

This white nylon horsehair cloche is a reproduction of an antique hat (see last photo), made from authentic vintage horsehair and straw.

The hat is trimmed with the same horsehair, plus a vintage Petersham ribbon band. This vintage straw is close to 100 years old, and it's a bit prickly, so I lined the hat with 100% silk satin to make it comfortable to wear.

It is still quite a delicate hat though, as the materials are old, so you'll want to be careful in how you handle it (i.e. don't squish it up in your purse!)

It's a beautiful style, and flattering on a lot of faces with it's asymmetrical trim and half-up/half-down brim.

Fits heads sized 7 (22 1/4" or 57 cm). It's meant to sit quite low on the head, so slightly smaller heads would be fine, but a larger one would not fit this hat.
