VINTAGE Orange Calcite Crystal Bowl Mid Century Modern Biomorphic Oval shape Calcite Dish, honed surface, age unknown.
Very unusual and certainly rare. As they say, find another like it!
The condition is very good, there are no cracks or breaks. The surface is even. A beautiful thing.
Calcite in another form is marble. Calcite comes in many colors, it is calcium carbonate but depending on what ever minerals hitch a ride during the sedimentary process, it will effects its color.
Very beautiful and unique large crystal bowl made from orange calcite. A large statement piece. Not recommended for actual food use.*
Gaining power from the sun, Orange Calcite is a great stone for increasing energy. Also great for creativity and holds a restorative nature. Helps to sooth emotionally and physically.

Remnants of residue from old felt pads on bottom, not sticky, clean and clear. The bottom is perfectly smooth so felt pads for probably not needed.

*Definitely never put it in a dishwasher. If you ever clean it, just use water, and don't let it sit in water for any period of time.
