Rare, beautiful + Finnish: A vintage 1980s wall plate – made by Arabia Finland – designed by Kimmo Pälikko – the motif's name is "Hirvi" (Finnish for elk or moose) – stoneware with silk screening décor: A winter landscape, the giant animal (a national symbol of Finland) hooves in the snow looking back towards the viewer, in the background tall forest trees – ready for wall-hanging with a hook at the back – of course also great as snack dish & a perfect gift for a passionate hunter or collector of Scandinavian Modern Design – this 22,5 cm/8.86 inch diameter object is the more rare large version of this beautiful plate.
