These are one-of-a kind pieces designed and created by Marie - a former model and later Parisian -trained milliner whose worked with and in some of the most prestigious millinery shops in London and good Paris.

__Material:
✯ Undyed, natural dark beige, golden colored sinamay
✯ "Sinamay is made from Abaca plant fiber (grown in the Philippines). Unlike raffia, abaca fiber is obtained from the leaf stalks, not the leaves. Hats are blocked from a stiffened flat sheet, or a loosely woven hood. Usually fancy hats, derby hats and fascinators are made of sinamay." - Setartrading.com

__Embellishments:
✯ Well crafted silk roses - the quality kind. One is a lovely bordeaux, the other dark gold like the hat.

__Lining:
✯This fascinator is unlined, though it does have a grosgrain textured ribbon along the inside where the hat would rest on your head. There's even the little hand sewn stitch in case you forget which side is the front!

__Care tips:
✯Your hat will be delivered in a lovely box - but please remember these are fragile, delicate works of art. Care should be taken with storage- the original hat shape should always be supported. One can steam the sinamay with a cylinder (such as small rolling pin) underneath if it starts to get a little flat. Direct heat should never be applied!

__Shipping:
✯I use the French Postal system, La Poste Colissimo for all my orders. This includes tracking and basic insurance.
✯It is my policy to reuse shipping materials when I can.
✯In addition, I would be happy to send you your items through a private company (such as UPS, FedEx or DHL), but please note that this is significantly more expensive. Again, I charge at cost for these additional services - no inflated prices. Shipping's already expensive enough!
