French 1990 Charlemagne Coin Ring & Charm good

This ring is handmade from a French 100 Francs silver coin. These coins were minted in .900 silver in 1990 to commemorate First Emperor Charlemagne. Included with this ring is a charm made from the middle part of the coin.

On the ring's outer band is the French national motto "LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ" (Liberty equality fraternity) and State name "RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE" (French Republic). The inner band bears the name "CHARLE MAGNE" with the year of his birth "742" and death "814".

The charm made from the middle of the coin features the King's monogram "KR◇LS" above "1990". The charm is approx 17mm in diameter and has Emperor Charlemagne's stylized face on the reverse.

The ring pictured is a size U (US 10, EU 62) and has a good band width of approximately 6 mm. Your ring will look slightly different depending on what size you choose
