Sterling silver and turquoise necklace. Gorgeous Navajo winged/feathered necklace with bright turquoise centerpiece. The turquoise nugget with black matrix is set above the fine sawtooth bezel. The setting also has a smooth outline with three stamped pebbles at the top. All loops and links are finely soldered with no break lines. Both feathered wings are deeply etched with a smooth raised trim at the top. Two curved drop feathers are in the elongated rectangular style, etched with a raised center line and wired wrapped at the top. The fine chain has elongated links that connect to the clasp and ring. A beautiful Native American piece that is stunning on. Light weight (just over 1/2 ounce) the necklace is very comfortable. In excellent condition. Artist is Arnold Maloney. Affiliation is Navajo.
