Vintage individual tea set - tea pot and tea trio.
The teapot is pottery made by well known English pottery company Sadler, likely manufacture date 1940's - 1950's
The tea trio is bone china made by English china company Garden House, likely manufacture date 1950's.
The tea trio consists of tea cup, saucer, tea plate peachy pink colour, decorated with geometric design in gilt, the pieces are further enhanced with gilding to the edges of the china and handle of cup. The china is in very good vintage condition free from chips, cracks, crazing, stains. The gilding show minimal signs of rubbing. As with all vintage items age a usage related wear is to be expected, ( micro crazing visible on high magnification may be present due to age of vintage items )

The teapot is swirl or Wrythen shaped in pale peachy pink with gilding to top rim, handle, spout and foot, finial of the lid and gilding is used to accent the indentations between the flutes on the body and lid of the teapot.
The teapot is in very good vintage condition free from chips cracks, crazing,
Gilding has only slight wear. There are some black specks in the bottom of the teapot which date from the firing process.

This is a small teapot with 3/4 pint capacity, enough for 2 cups of tea.
As with all vintage items age and usage related wear is to be expected, as are small manufacturing flaws

This is a lovely tea for one set featuring a really pretty peachy pink, shabby chic tea trio and a cute and highly collectable Sadler one person teapot. A real treat for afternoon tea.
