The Love & Luck Horseshoe ™

Hanging a found horseshoe above the entry door of a home or stable has long been tradition as a symbol of "good luck".

The Love & Luck Horseshoe™ is handcrafted of upcycled vintage silver and reclaimed hand-forged iron shoes previously worn by local Kentucky horses. This charming display hangs from unique knots of rich linen ribbon, creating an earthy and organic welcome. Hand-stamped with a wish for blessings of Love & Luck, each piece is as unique and one-of-a-kind as the individual hoof for which it was created. The Iron Hoofprint.

You can't get any closer to the "Bluegrass" than by the worn shoes of Kentucky horses! The Fleur De Lis is the symbol of Louisville, St. Louis, Detroit, Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

► DESIGN STAMPS: I have MANY design stamps in MANY different categories, i.e., fleur de lis, star, anchor, heart, star, cross, ohm symbol, etc. If you are interested in a particular design, please add to your request in the NOTE TO SELLER box at check out.

► RIBBON SELECTION: My signature ribbon is a 1.5" cotton/linen offered in Wheat, Oatmeal, Milk Chocolate and Signature Green. I also offer several hand-cut leather options, please see listing photos. Curb Chain is available for good a classic equestrian vibe ($4 upgrade).

► FONTS/LAYOUT: You will receive a confirmation email upon receipt of your order. Together we will design the horseshoe layout, fonts, etc.

► RECLAIMED HORSESHOE DETAILS: All horseshoes are reclaimed, hand-forged iron shoes previously worn by local Kentucky horses. Each is as unique and one-of-a-kind as the individual hoof for which it was created. The color of the iron horseshoes are varied and range from shiny silver/gun metal to dark brown/blackened. They have all been sealed to prevent rust, so they may be displayed outside.

► HORSESHOE DIMENSIONS: Approximately 5-5.5” x 5-5.5” inches. If size is a concern, please contact me PRIOR to ordering. The weight of the horseshoes range from ½ pound, with the largest horseshoes weighing just under a pound.

► HORSESHOE SHAPE: Horseshoes are primarily two shapes, rear horseshoe (oblong/oval-ish) or front horseshoe (rounded/circular). If you have a preference, just let me know. I will do my best to accommodate from the inventory on hand.

► NEW HORSESHOES: If you prefer a NEW horseshoe, as opposed to the RECLAIMED, simply let me know PRIOR to ordering, and I will send over photos of the horseshoe shape options and all color/finish options (i.e., raw, silver, oil rubbed bronze, copper, graphite, rose gold, matte gold, shiny gold, etc., many color/finish options are available).

► G I F T B O X E D: Your order will arrive beautifully and organically gift-boxed in the Sycamore Hill signature style ready for gifting. Also enclosed in the packaging is a product card that explains the history of the Love & Luck Horseshoe™ and the process by which they are handmade. Personalized gift notes are also available, upon request.
