Vintage Kihachijo Silk good Tsumugi Kimono Haori, Japanese antique Kimono Haori Silk

Vintage Kihachijo Silk Tsumugi Haori made in Hachijojima island, Tokyo from 1980s.
Kihachijo silk is a traditional craft kimono of Hachijojima island, Tokyo.
This Kimono is also very unique in which it has the ikat Kasuri pattern. Normally Kihachijo is woven for a plain, strip or check fabric, but this Kimono has the very unique and intricate "Igeta" and "Jyuji" Kasuri pattern. The beautiful shiny Ocher is made by a local plant dye on silk (a local carpet grass called "Kobunagusa").
This Haori is made together with a Kimono.
