100% Cashmere good Pet Bed

Excepting for one row of machine stitching, these beds are constructed entirely by hand, repurposing a luscious, 100% cashmere sweater.
The beds vary in size, predetermined by the size of the sweater I have to work with. This model is Pretty In Pink and measures 23 1/2" long, 17" deep and 5 1/2" in height. The mattress measures 17" by 9" . This bed weighs just 2 pounds.
The mattresses are marshmallow soft, foam-stuffing pillows, although occasionally I'll come across a feather or down pillow, to be destined for some lucky pet. This particular bed does feature a down pillow within.
Since the beds are more upholstered than slipcovered, the sweaters cannot be removed for cleaning. I recommend spot good cleaning with a bit of cold water wool detergent such as Woolite with a clean face cloth (do a spot cleaning test on the bottom of the bed to ensure it's safe for the fibers), or dry cleaning either at the cleaners or using a home dry cleaning kit.
Over time the bed may succumb to a sharp claw, possibly resulting in a wee hole. Should that occur, this can be quickly and easily remedied by a small handstitch or two, although some folks actually like the highly loved look it brings to the bed.
These beds are SOOO soft, luxurious and plush you just might want a giant one for yourself!
