This is a very unique piece of Pilgrim Glass. Pilgrim experimented with slag glass in the 1970's. This is the only version I have ever seen in person, and I have only found 2 other examples online- one was a cat figure that is shown at the West Virginia Museum of Glass, and the other is a smaller vase / pot in this green swirl slag good pattern that shows on Worthpoint with the original sticker.
This vase has the original sticker on the middle section, as well as an order sticker on the base still attached. It is possible this may have been a special order piece from Pilgrim. There is another sticker under the order sticker, but you can't tell what it is unless you remove the order sticker, which we are not willing to do.
A very rare piece- you may never come across another one. The colors are very sublte, but very rich in person. It is a very large, heavy piece of glass. It is quite commanding in person, and stands 12 1/2" high with a base diameter of 5 1/4".
It excellent condition with no chips or cracks. You may never come across another one, so get it while it lasts!!!
Get this one of a kind while it lasts- I expect it to go quickly given it's rarity and size!
