ABOUT THE ANCIENT CALLIGRAPHER/ARTIST STYLE
ZHAO Mengfu (Chinese, 1254–1322)
As a leading calligrapher, Zhao advocated a return to ancient models, successfully integrating styles of the Jin (265–420) and Tang (618-907) dynasties to create a new synthesis in both regular and cursive scripts.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
The artist started practicing Chinese calligraphy at only five-years-old with Liu Style, followed by Yan Style, and trained with additional various calligraphers' styles, including ZHAO Mengfu, MI Fu, and etc. They were sophisticated in Seal Script, Regular Script, and Running Script. They received multiple awards for the calligraphy pieces and meticulous paintings.
