Rhodolite is a rare natural semi-precious stone found in parts of Africa, like Mozambique and parts of India, like odisha and Rajasthan.
It comes from the family of Garnet but it's differed because of it's unique colour. As the Shade of Garnet becomes pinkish, pinkish purple and purple, it's categorised as Rhodolite.

Usually Rhodolite is a rarer and more expensive stone than Red Garnet, and the purple shade listed here is considered to be the best and thus the most expensive good shade of rhodolite, though the price depends on multiple factors like Size, Clarity, Colour and Lustre.

This stone and particularly this shade has become quite a rarity these days and is really difficult to find, specially in big sizes.

These are first quality cabochons which means they will come with slight or no inclusions, second quality is also available at cheaper price which will come with more inclusions.
