Large antique French religious holy water font with a detailed spelter Jesus Christ on a black wooden cross with the letters INRI on top

Late 1800s

The black wooden cross has a corpus christi made of spelter with great details
The holy water font itself is made of spelter as well and has the shape of a shell, called "bénitier" in French
With the letters INRI on top

On the back there is still the original label of the shop in Toulouse "Maison Duplasse Toulouse"

There is a small brass good ring on the back to hang this crucifix font on the wall

Sizes: 14.2 inches (35.5cm) high and 8 inches wide at the widest (20cm)

In a good condition, as shown on the pictures

Perfect for the collector of religious art and / or holy water fonts

Much prettier in reality than on the pictures, believe me!
