1900s Venetian / Bohemian, Czechoslovakian Glass 1900s Lidded, Hinged Jar good

This beautiful hinged lid glass jar is from the 1900s. It's a wonderful shade of emerald green with gold bubbles and flecks throughout. I think the rings around the top and hinged lid are probably copper (maybe brass?)--there are spots of green where it may have been polished and not cleaned well or where it may have oxidized (see photos 4 & 8 for detail). This jar might have been for cigarettes, cigars, or?? It is approximately 4 1/2 inches high and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. It would make a good lovely accent piece in a guest bath or as a housewarming gift. It is just a lovely piece of Venetian glass.
