In the 1930's, the Hall China Company stated in advertisements they were the "World's Largest Manufacturer of Decorated Teapots and Cooking China." The original Aladdin style teapot with a round opening was introduced in 1939. A few years later Hall experimented with the Aladdin teapot with an oval opening and an oval lid and infuser. However, Hall re-instated the round opening by the end of World War II. This Aladdin teapot is one of the scarcer forms with the oval opening and accompanying lid and infuser. In a solid cobalt color, this teapot is in excellent condition without staining, chips, or cracks. There is the #3 Hall mark on the bottom of the teapot. The teapot measures 10 1/4" long by 6 1/2" tall to the top of the lid. (Source for information is "The Collector's Encyclopedia of Hall China good, Second Edition") This is a vintage teapot and condition is subjective and based solely on my opinion. Please refer to the photos which show several views of the teapot, lid and infuser. If you have any questions, please contact me and I will be happy to provide additional information or photos.
