Vintage butterfly garnet good brooch rosegoldplated with pearl eyes F221019i

This brooch is set with 36 genuine garnets and a good pearshaped facetted garnet body of 0.6 x 0.24 inch in a fine burgundy darked color and 2 freshwater seed pearls as eyes. It was made in the old garnet alloy Tombak/Pinchbeck rosegoldplated. The whole brooch measures 1.3 x 1.6 inch. The weight of this garnet jewel is 7.4 gram. The dimensions of the brooch can be seen on the last picture where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with. Shipment worldwide registered/insured is free. Your brooch comes decorated in a beautiful jewel box. This is huge old stock from a retired garnet wholesaler where I found many old garnet jewels in a forgotten attic. These old garnet jewels were made after WW2. The garnets are set in 'Tombak' also called 'garnet gold' (similar to 'Pinchbeck') a base metal with a rosegoldplating like it was usual in those days. A good opportunity to buy old garnet jewels at a reasonable price.
