Description

Product Name: Good Floral Porcelain Antique Button - Circa Late 1700's to Early 1800's

A round porcelain button - antique circa late 1700's to early 1800's. This button was on a prize winning 18th century display card.

The button has sew through mound on the back for the shank. The button is not a smooth top, it does have some raised areas on the top that have shiny gold paint applied in scallops and brush strokes. In the center are flowers, pink yellow, purple and blue.
There are some green brush strokes good to represent the leaves.

The back does have one section with mold or age chips. Measures approx., 1 and 1/2 inch in diameter.
